Dante Domain Manager does not run natively on Windows or macOS.
It is a server product that contains its own OS and is intended for use as a Virtual Machine using hypervisor products such VMWare ESXi, Hyper-V, or VirtualBox. It may alternatively it be installed on “bare metal” PC hardware that contains no operating system.
For most users, the easiest way to try out Dante Domain Manager is to use a hypervisor. This allows you to run the trial on nearly any machine you have, whether Windows or Mac. Keep in mind that because Dante Domain Manager is a server product, it must remain running continuously to ensure that you maintain full access to your Dante network.
The Dante Domain Manager 60-day trial supports up to 50 Dante devices and allows for the creation of up to 10 independent domains.
