Case Studies

Pope Francis's final Mexican appearances included the Jose Morelos Pavon Stadium and the Estadio Venustiano Carranza, a soccer stadium, in Morelia along with a park, Parque Publico Federal El Chamizal, and a small adjoining soccer park in Juarez just north of the U.S. border. Audio company 3G Productions was contracted to supply high quality audio over exceptionally long distances, while under massive time contstraints to deliver. A vast and sophisticated Dante fiber network was the natural solution.

Rat Sound, a leading sound reinforcement specialist for the concert touring industry, integrated a Dante audio network from Audinate at this spring’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and consequent Stagecoach festival. Faced with the challenge of covering enormous areas of roughly 750 x 1200 feet, Rat Sound simplified the installation by installing a Dante network to ensure robust and reliable carriage of high-quality audio across 21 delay positions.

The Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) celebrated 15 years of their show stopping live performance week at London’s Royal Albert Hall with a high profile line up. West London based rental specialist Entec Sound & Light has been involved as the audio supplier for the event right from the start, and over the years has fine-tuned the sound system to perfection for this prestigious venue. This year, for the first time, Entec distributed signal via its new Dante network.

Benaroya Hall is a purpose-built home for the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, but it also hosts lectures, jazz concerts, rock gigs and guest orchestras. The Hall's recently re-drawn DSP infrastructure now facilitates an advanced networking solution: a hybrid Dante-CobraNet installation, sharing the common platform of Symetrix’s SymNet scalable audio routing and processing system.

The Theatre Des Sablons in the Paris community of Neuilly-sur-Seine brings a new performing arts venue to an area of the city already rich with culture. The multipurpose venue includes a large theater and an intimate auditorium, among other common areas. With reliability, architectural simplicity and sound quality as requirements for the theatre's audio system, Dante networking was selected, and has surpassed the needs of all three requirements.

London's Wembley Stadium is designed for soccer matches, and thus contains a much smaller audio and video system than is required for an American NFL Football experience. In order to bring the full multi-media experience of American NFL Football to the UK, a custum-designed system was required to accomodate the greater use of music and a larger number of television cameras, lighting, pyrotechnics and radio communications channels.
